Description
Beşiktaş Tüpraş Stadium is a modern pearl of Istanbul. It was opened on April 11, 2016, and since then has changed names twice: Vodafone Arena and Vodafone Park.
The arena was built on the site of the legendary BJK İnönü Stadium, which was demolished in 2013. Construction took only three years according to the design of the architectural bureau DB Architects.
This is the first "green" stadium in Turkey with environmentally friendly technologies and energy-efficient solutions, which makes it a unique facility.
The stadium has a capacity of 42,590 spectators. They are offered a variety of accommodation options: suites, boxes, VIP seats and standard stands.
Beşiktaş Tüpraş is the home arena of Beşiktaş JK. Fans of the Black Eagles praise the new stadium for its convenience and thoughtful design. Besides watching matches, you can visit the club museum, learn about the team's history, and shop in the store.
The stadium hosts international matches. In 2019, it hosted the UEFA Super Cup, a match between Liverpool and Chelsea. Beşiktaş Tüpraş also hosts matches of the Turkish Super League, European cup tournaments, and concerts by world stars.
The stadium is conveniently located, with public transportation and parking available nearby.
Beşiktaş Tüpraş is a symbol of modern Turkish football, where tradition and innovation blend harmoniously.
